Image Licensing Policy

1. What This Page Covers
The diagrams and charts on SA Property Tools (sapropertytools.co.za) are original graphics we build ourselves for our calculators, guides and blog posts. Each one carries a visible credit line in its bottom corner: "© 2026 SA Property Tools | sapropertytools.co.za | South Africa." This page explains the terms under which you may reuse them, and how to request a commercial license if you need one.
This policy applies only to our own diagrams and charts. It does not apply to calculator screenshots, photographs, our logo, or any content sourced from a third party and credited as such elsewhere on the Site.
2. The License Terms
Our diagrams are free to use under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
What You Are Allowed to Do
- Share: Copy, distribute and republish the diagrams in any medium or format, for non-commercial purposes, such as an educational blog post, a personal project, a research paper or a classroom resource.
- Adapt: Remix, translate or build on the diagrams for non-commercial purposes.
What You Must Do
- Attribution: Give appropriate credit and link back to this website or the specific page the diagram came from.
- Indicate changes: If you modified the diagram, state clearly what you changed.
- No commercial use without a license: You may not use our diagrams in paid products, paid courses, client work, advertising or any other revenue-generating context without first agreeing a commercial license with us (see Section 4).
3. How to Credit Us
When you share or embed one of our diagrams for a non-commercial use covered by Section 2, please place one of the following directly beneath the image:
- Website/blog format: Diagram by SA Property Tools
- Academic/presentation format: Source: SA Property Tools (sapropertytools.co.za)
4. Commercial Use and High-Resolution Files
If you'd like to use one of our diagrams commercially, for example in a paid course, a client deliverable or marketing material, or you need a high-resolution vector file (SVG/PDF) or an unbranded version without our credit line, contact us directly to discuss a commercial license:

Include a link to the specific diagram and a short description of your intended use, and we'll get back to you with terms.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Image Licensing Policy from time to time. Any revisions will be published on this page together with an updated "Last updated" date. A change in terms applies to future use, not to a diagram you already reused correctly under the terms in effect at the time.
